Norma is a second-generation Realtor®, born and raised in Palm Beach County and brought up in the El Cid area which borders downtown West Palm Beach. Norma holds the honor of being the youngest real estate broker in Palm Beach County when she received her license in 1983, following in the footsteps of her mother, also a successful real estate broker. She also practiced condominium association management in the Palm Beaches from 1983 through 1990 when she became licensed with (CAM) Community Association Management. Consequently, Norma started a property management business within her real estate company which remains a successful adjunct to the firm. Throughout the 1990s until today, Norma became a specialist in the luxury properties of Palm Beach, the historic and Intracoastal areas of West Palm Beach, and in areas throughout Northern Palm Beach County.
Recently Norma became a licensed real estate broker in Colorado. She is also listing high-end properties in Boulder County and has become very knowledgeable in Colorado real estate. "We are actively building strategic alliances with firms in targeted areas of Colorado, North Carolina, Georgia, Manhattan, and the Hamptons," says Norma. "This is in addition to our already strong presence in Palm Beach, and Northern Palm Beach County, including Jupiter, North Palm Beach, and Palm Beach Gardens. We feel that this will help us more effectively meet the ever-growing needs of our clients." Norma was honored to sit on the advisory board of Palm Beach National bank until its merger with Colonial Bank in 2003. Norma also was proud to serve as President of the Palm Beach Board of Realtors® in the year 2007. Norma is ready to meet your real estate needs, whether you are buying, selling, renting, or requiring property management. Norma Mirsky is a longtime Palm Beach real estate broker who founded her boutique real estate agency in 1987. Mirsky, a West Palm Beach native, has been part of the island's real estate scene for 35 years where she has raised her family, and roots that go back as far as 1935.
She continues to fulfill her passion for helping people by catering to the specific needs of each client as well as serving on the Professional Standards Committee of the Palm Beach Board of Realtors®, is the former president of the Palm Beach Board of Realtors® and in 2020, became a Licensed Mediator certified by the Florida Supreme Court.
Her deeply rooted local expertise and customer-obsessed approach perfectly align with the Compass technology and national presence, which will continue to provide our clients with a truly elevated experience.
In addition to her penchant for helping people, Norma Mirsky also has always had a love for music. Growing up in El Cid, West Palm Beach, Florida, Norma was constantly surrounded by music. Norma's father was the President of the Palm Beach Civic Association. Her mother was President of the Palm Beach Symphonettes, a local music group of which Norma served on the Board of Directors in the '90s. Her father would bring musicians from all over the world to play at the West Palm Beach Auditorium and Flagler Museum. Not just arranging for musicians to perform in Palm Beach, Norma's parents would also offer their home as a place to stay, giving Norma unique access to great music. Artists from all over the globe would play world-class music right in their living room. Norma and her brothers were both heavily influenced by their parents' love for music and the continuous company and performances of extremely talented pianists, violinists, and more. Her brother Brian is an accomplished pianist and violinist. He played with the Princeton Orchestra and continues to perform throughout Palm Beach County. He was concertmaster at Palm Beach Atlantic College, as well as the Florida Atlantic University Orchestra, Peabody Prep Orchestra, and continues his passion as a professional piano accompanist.
Norma is a musician herself, although, with children and her own business, she has not been as active in her recent years. She grew up dancing like a ballerina and playing the piano. Dancing, in addition to her musically oriented family, was another entrance into her love for music. Dancing necessitates syncing your body with music, especially ballet. In terms of playing the piano, classical music is still her favorite, particularly that of Mozart and Beethoven. While Norma did have an experience performing for others when she played Moonlight Sonata in the fifth grade, she much prefers to play alone, using music as a personal mode of expression. She loves the intense passion in music; her favorite music is that which speaks to the heart.
Aside from music, Norma and her kids get involved in the community and bring Christmas gifts to families in need. They've brought gifts to a hospital cancer ward, sponsored gifts for children, and made stuffed animals for local children's charities at Build-a-Bear.
